Thank you for visiting our wedding website! Our wedding turned out great and was everything we had hoped for. While it was storming all over central Virginia, the rain held off at The Mill (just for us). Thanks to all of our friends and family who were there to support us as we took the next step in our lives as husband and wife. We love you all!

Ashley and David met at a work happy-hour June 30th, 2006 at Baja Bean in the Fan (Richmond, Va). While they worked at the same company, they hadn't really interacted with each other until then. As the night went on and friends headed home, Ashley and David were left enjoying pitchers of PBR and of course - each other's company. That special day led to a whirlwind of dates over the summer from Richmond, to the Outer Banks, to watching fireworks on the water in Manteo! That summer of fun blossomed into a love that neither expected.
A few years ago David took Ashley to Charleston, South Carolina for her 27th birthday and they both fell in love with the charming city. During this trip, they explored the historic district and enjoyed southern cuisine (Ashley particularly enjoyed the shrimp & grits!!). During a bike ride along the harbor one sunny afternoon, they came across the street sign Ashley Blvd. Thinking it would be a great photo opportunity, they stopped, and at the same time noticed the cross street - Murray Blvd! David knew right away this was where he'd someday propose. Sure enough, he did just that, right at this very intersection, on December 21, 2010. Ashley and David spent a few days enjoying Charleston (and yes, eating shrimp & grits) before heading home to Richmond to spend the holidays celebrating with their families.
The ceremony and reception were both held at The Mill at Fine Creek in Powhatan, Virginia on September 30, 2011.
